DHL cargo plane crash into a residential building in Vilnius claims one life, injures another

According to preliminary information, at least one person was killed, and another was injured after a DHL cargo plane crashed into a residential building. The plane was flying from Leipzig.

Lithuanian broadcaster LRT reported that a cargo plane belonging to the logistics company DHL crashed into a residential building near the airport in Vilnius early Monday morning.

The two-storey residential building was struck by the plane flying from Leipzig and caught fire. Emergency services evacuated 12 people from the building. They were not injured.

Rescue services were dispatched to the scene of the incident.
