American psychologist Francesca Tighinean actively maintains her TikTok account, where she eagerly shares the secrets of her work with fans. Recently, she decided to reveal how to recognize by someone's behaviour if they truly like us. It turns out it's simpler than it seems.

She is followed by over 1.3 million users on TikTok, and her videos have garnered up to 24 million likes. Francesca Tighinean utilizes her knowledge of psychology daily, sharing it with her audience in a clear and accessible manner. This has established her as a true online guru in the field.
Recently, she highlighted the nonverbal signs our conversation partner sends us. In her opinion, it is these signs that reveal what they truly think of us.
In one of her videos, she revealed that avoiding eye contact is one of the easiest signals to read, which is sent by someone not particularly friendly towards us.
- This may suggest they are trying to avoid deeper connection or conversation - she stated.
If someone clenches their lips around us, it may suggest that the person is stressed or irritated. Also significant is the way our conversation partner's body is positioned. If it's facing in the opposite direction, that's a clear signal that they may not be interested in interaction. The expert also noted that it's very important whether someone "shields" themselves from us with various objects.
- Placing objects, such as a bag or crossed arms, between you can symbolise a need for psychological or physical space.
According to the psychologist, it's also crucial to pay attention to the facial expressions of the person you're talking to. If you don't see many emotions on their face, it might mean they're not interested in engaging in further interaction.
Don't overlook hostility
Psychologist Josh Fraser Young, in an interview with Lad Bible, admitted that there is, among other things, one more sign that can indicate another person's dislike. The specialist emphasized that one should not ignore situations where someone doesn't do much for you.
