On social media, a video surfaced showing a completely destroyed Russian T-90M tank. This is the result of the work of a Ukrainian drone "Baba Yaga", which wreaks havoc in the army of Vladimir Putin.

Ukrainian drones known as "Baba Yaga" are commercial models with a payload of up to about 20 kg obtained as part of the "Army of Drones" initiative, adapted for military actions. For example, this includes models such as DJI Matrice RTK 300 or agricultural drones that allow for a range of up to about 10 km and can stay in the air at an altitude of up to about 4,000 meters for around an hour. Still, the time will be shorter in case of overload.

Ukrainians use them as bombing drones carrying anti-tank submunitions, PG-7VL grenades, or mortar shells.

In the second case, "Baba Yaga" is equipped with a signal amplifier enabling the use of FPV drones converted into improvised circling ammunition by attaching, for example, grenades with zip ties.

The effects of "Baba Yaga's" work we now saw on social media. The Ukrainian drone destroyed the Russian T-90M tank.

Now, the tank crews are left without a vehicle and are being moved to assault groups, since there is no alternative - we read online on the X platform.

Russia's best tanks

Earlier attacks on the T-90M emphasized that one unit of this tank costs about 4.5 million dollars. This, as well as calling it Putin's pride, means that each successful operation by the Ukrainians ending in destruction is a severe loss for the Russians - financially and in terms of image.

The T-90M is equipped with a 2A46M-5 cannon 125 mm with a modern fire control system Kalina, as well as two machine guns - cal. 7.62 mm and cal. 12.7 mm. It also has Relikt reactive armor, which protects the hull and turret of the machine.
