Earlier on Tuesday, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian army struck an arms depot near the city of Karachev in the Bryansk region overnight from Monday to Tuesday. Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Centre for Countering Disinformation, informed that artillery ammunition from North Korea was destroyed.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed on Tuesday afternoon that the Ukrainian military used ATACMS missiles. According to the ministry, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the site in the Bryansk region with six such missiles overnight. It was reported that five missiles were intercepted, and one was "damaged."

Missiles with a range of 300 kilometres
Reuters, citing anonymous sources, reported on Sunday that U.S. President Joe Biden's administration gave Ukraine the green light to use American weapons to hit targets deep within Russia. Similar information was also relayed by other media citing sources in the U.S. administration.
Reuters announced that Ukraine would conduct its first attacks in the coming days using ATACMS missiles with a range of about 300 kilometres. According to these reports, the U.S. decision to change the use of American missiles was influenced by Russia's deployment of North Korean ground forces on the front.
