U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, during the Munich Security Conference, stated that "the options for taking military action against Russia are also open." He also warned that the biggest threat to Europe is a retreat from fundamental values.

During the Munich Security Conference, U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance highlighted threats that, according to him, do not come from outside but from within Europe.

Vance highlighted his primary concern regarding Europe, which was not Russia, China, or any external force. Instead, he stressed that the greatest threat was internal—Europe's shift away from fundamental values it shares with the United States.

J.D. Vance also conveyed that "the options for taking military action against Russia are also open."

"I think certainly look there, there are instruments of pressure, absolutely and again, if you look at President Trump’s approach to this, the range of options is extremely broad," said the Vice President.

values under pressure

The U.S. Vice President emphasized that he is concerned about Europe's retreat from values that are common to it and the United States.

Vance noted his surprise at a former European commissioner appearing on television and openly expressing approval of the Romanian government overturning an entire election. He pointed out that the commissioner also warned that a similar situation could occur in Germany if events did not unfold as expected. According to Vance, such remarks, made so casually, would be startling to an American audience.
