Tuthill's contemporary GT one: A modern ode to the 911 GT1
Many of you probably remember the 911 GT1 – an extreme race car from the second half of the '90s that still evokes desire among the brand's fans today. The British workshop Tuthill decided to create a contemporary interpretation of this monster.

The creators are quite reserved regarding technical details. However, the GT One is known to be rather a loose interpretation of the 911 GT1, primarily referencing the original in terms of appearance.
Despite the "911" in its name, the GT1 was closer to the prototype 962 than the road-going 993. Tuthill's creation, however, mainly uses 993 components combined with custom solutions in the form of front and rear frames.
It's worth noting that, unlike the 911 GT1, the Tuthill GT One is not just a spartan race car. A quick glance inside confirms this. The modern yet cozy cabin makes a great impression both in terms of design, finish, and equipment.
However, the universal character should go hand in hand with excellent performance. The 4-litre boxer engine generates 370 kW in the naturally aspirated version and 450 kW in the turbocharged version. The specifications are impressive, but the British have not disclosed detailed performance figures yet.
We will likely learn more details closer to the market launch. It is known that Tuthill plans to create 22 units. I wouldn't be surprised if they all already have owners.
