"I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected your 47th president, and your 45th president," said Donald Trump during his Wednesday morning Eastern Time speech. Republican Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson announced that Trump had been declared the president-elect, as quoted by Reuters.

The politician stated that Republicans are ready and prepared to act immediately in accordance with Trump's "America First" agenda.
Trump thanks Americans
Earlier, Trump’s victory in the election was projected by the analytical centre Decision Desk HQ and the conservative television network Fox News.
According to the AP agency, Trump has so far secured 247 electoral votes, while Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has 210. According to "The New York Times," Trump's victory is "very likely."
The voting concluded at 1 a.m. Eastern Time.

"America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate. We have taken back control of the Senate – wow that’s good – and the Senate races in Montana, Nevada, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin the great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania were all won by the Maga movement," Trump argued.
During his speech, he also promised that when he becomes the president of the United States, "we’re going to fix our borders, we’re going to fix everything about our country and we made history for a reason tonight."
