The latest report on Donald Trump's wealth sheds new light on his wife's earnings. Documents filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) show that Melania Trump earned over CAD 325,000 for a single appearance in April this year. The speech took place during an event organized by the Log Cabin Republicans, a group of conservative members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies in Palm Beach, Florida.
This report also includes other sources of information about Melania Trump's income. In July 2024, the politician's wife attended a second fundraising event for the Log Cabin Republicans at Trump Tower. According to Richard Grenell, former acting director of national intelligence in the Trump administration, this event raised CAD 1.9 million. However, the financial documents do not mention any earnings for Melania Trump from this particular event.
Melania Trump grows her wealth in various ways
The documents released by the "Newsweek" editorial team also reveal the creation of a company named MKT World LLC, which is set to handle Melania's speaking engagements and the sale of her NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens).
Melania Trump also owns several properties, including apartments in New York, which are valued between CAD 670,000 to CAD 1.3 million. Additionally, she receives rent from a residential property in her hometown of Ljubljana, between CAD 20,000 and CAD 67,000 annually.
The documents also indicate that Melania Trump earns CAD 447,000 based on a sales licensing agreement with the NFT project manager. After leaving the White House, the former first lady launched her collection of digital tokens, including likenesses of her face and a collection commemorating the Apollo 11 moon landing.
