The right-wing organization Naszi, inspired by a Russian group of the same name, printed and posted the posters.
Beside the images of Trump and Musk, the posters also featured a map of the so-called Greater Serbia—a concept supported by local nationalists, uniting Serbs from Serbia and neighbouring countries.
"Such actions carry the risk of heightening national tensions and caution must be exercised in the way historical topics are presented in the public space, especially in a multi-ethnic region like the Balkans," warns the Association of Electronic Media of Serbia in its statement.
On Sunday, the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, had a phone conversation with the winner of the U.S. elections. Vučić invited Trump to Serbia, describing it as "the country where support for his election was the highest in Europe," as he publicly announced.
During the same call, Elon Musk, an American billionaire associated with Trump, also participated, as revealed by President Vučić on Monday Eastern Time.
