For Tristan, it has meant difficulties forming relationships with women who may not always want to date someone with such an unusual appearance. He also sometimes encounters disapproving looks in everyday life, which can be tiring. However, he says that he doesn't care about it.
A lot of people stare and are pretty fascinated. My friends now say that it’s almost like walking around with a celebrity, he revealed in an interview with the Daily Star.
His parents are also not fans of his new look, being extremely critical of his decision and unable to come to terms with his choice. Although many years have passed, they have not been able to accept it.
