Tragic death of an influencer
Unfortunately, Aanvi died tragically at the age of 27. The accident happened at Kumbhe Falls, located about 80 miles from Mumbai. Aanvi was there with friends, recording content for her social media. She fell due to inattention.
The Economic Times, citing one of the rescuers, reported that she fell on the hard, slippery patch of rocks around 300 feet into the valley and couldn't be spotted initially.
A total of over 50 people were involved in the rescue operation. According to CBS NWS, it took them about six hours to pull the 27-year-old out of the gorge.
Aanvi Kamdar is dead
According to "The Economic Times," Kamdar died later at the hospital. Initially, her condition was severe enough to require a ventilator. However, it was found that her internal injuries were too severe. Aanvi Kamdar died on July 16th in the afternoon, local time.
No commemorative post regarding her death or funeral appeared on the influencer's profile. Internet users paid their respects in the comments under her last posts. They argue that Aanvi's death does not fit the trend of influencers who died due to carelessness while taking selfies.
