Shooting in a Houston laundry: Three teenagers dead
Alvaro Guzman, the deputy chief of local police, informed the media that two unknown men were in the laundry when a group of others arrived. A quarrel ensued, and the two suspects fled the shooting scene. They remain at large.
"The only thing we know is that there was some kind of disagreement that led to a shooting between the two parties involved. As a result, three people were killed. It's a huge tragedy. We have family members here. These are young individuals who lost their lives. If you can, please pray for them," said Guzman.
A weapon was found in the laundry, and police are currently working to apprehend the suspects. "At this moment, we only know that most of those present at the scene were underage boys of Latin American descent. The two individuals being sought by the authorities also have Latin American roots. They are either mature teenagers or very young adults," added Guzman.
Local television station KHOU reported that a significant number of officers were working at the scene. The laundry facility is regularly used by residents of the apartment complex, which operates in the area.
"These premises are separate from the apartments. It’s simply a shared laundry facility for everyone," explained Guzman.
