Summer delight: Avocado, burrata, and peach sandwich recipe
Standard sandwiches often include butter, cheese, deli meats, and fresh vegetables. However, this recipe deviates significantly from standard combinations, as the main ingredients are avocado paste, creamy burrata, and peach. This combination is ideal for breakfast, a healthy snack, or a light dinner for the whole family.

This combination is a true explosion of freshness and flavour. Creamy avocado is a great sandwich base and provides healthy fats. Peach adds sweetness and juiciness, while burrata gives the dish a delicate and slightly salty taste. It's simply the perfect combination that, after the first bite, transports you back to warm summer days and the snacks enjoyed in the sun's rays. Fortunately, nothing stops you from returning to this recipe all year round, as all the ingredients are readily available in stores.
Summer sandwich with avocado, burrata, and peach
This snack can impress even before tasting it—it's colourful and nicely presented, which encourages even fussy eaters. The toasts are crispy, avocado and burrata add creaminess, and slices of peach further balance the whole. Every bite is a perfectly harmonious composition of flavours. It's a great idea for a light breakfast, nutritious lunch, or an original snack for a party.
This sandwich is not only tasty but also healthy. Avocado is a source of healthy fats, B vitamins, and potassium. Peach provides vitamin C, beta-carotene, and fibre. Burrata is a source of high-quality protein and calcium, so in a simple toast, you can find taste and a solid portion of nutrients.
Ingredients:
- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1 burrata
- 1 avocado
- 1 peach
- Olive oil for drizzling
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Basil leaves
Instructions:
Step 1. Cut two slices of bread. It's best to opt for good quality bread. The pieces should be quite thick.
Step 2. Heat olive oil in a pan and toast the bread on both sides until it is appetizingly browned.
Step 3. Cut the avocado in half. Insert a knife into the pit and remove it. Use a spoon to scoop out the flesh and transfer it to a bowl. Add juice squeezed from half a lime, being careful not to let any seeds fall in. Mash with a fork.
Step 4. Cut the peach in half, remove the pit, and cut into half-slices.
Step 5. Spread the mashed avocado on the toast. Add sliced peaches and burrata torn into smaller pieces. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Garnish with basil leaves and you're done. Enjoy!
