Shifting tides: More Ukrainians open to peace with concessions
Ukrainians have expressed their views on potential concessions to Russia in exchange for peace. A significant change has taken place.
According to "Ukrainian Pravda," by the end of 2024, the number of Ukrainians willing to make territorial concessions for peace has increased. Conversely, the percentage of those strictly opposed to any concessions has decreased.
From May to early October 2024, the situation remained unchanged. However, from early October to December, there was an increase from 32% to 38% in the number of respondents willing to make certain territorial concessions.
The share of those opposing any concessions also decreased. Fifty-one percent of Ukrainians are against any territorial concessions, compared to 58% at the beginning of October.
