The Serbian basketball team leader and NBA star is enjoying his time in his homeland after winning the bronze medal at the 2024 Olympic Games. A fan decided to personally reward Nikola Jokić, and the Serbian player did not turn down a bottle of wine.

Nikola Jokić has a passion; it's not about basketball this time. Shortly after the 2024 Olympic Games, he visited a horse farm in the town of Sambor in northern Serbia. The residents were prepared for the visit of the literally and figuratively great athlete.

A fan brought wine to Nikola Jokić. A video of the gift presentation appeared on social media. In it, you can see that the basketball player was already walking in another direction, but when he saw the gift, he couldn't resist accepting it.

Additionally, Nikola Jokić greeted fans and high-fived some of them. The recent success of winning the bronze medal at the Olympic Games further increased the popularity of an already highly recognizable athlete in Serbia.

Serbians jubilantly celebrate the successes of their athletes at the Olympic Games. Novak Djoković won gold in tennis, and the water polo players also won gold. The basketball players also aimed for a higher place than third, but in the semifinals against the USA, they couldn't maintain their lead until the end. They could have created a huge surprise.

That doesn't change that the basketball players stood on the Olympic podium and had something to celebrate. Nikola Jokić certainly does not shy away from celebrating, as he was seen several times enjoying drinks after returning from Paris.

Whether the Serbian will use the gift in his homeland or take it with him to the United States remains a sweet secret. Nikola Jokić is one of the biggest stars in the NBA and will soon be starting the next season across the Atlantic.
