Cristiano Ronaldo, who started his relationship with Rodriguez in 2016, moved from Real Madrid to Juventus in 2018, and then returned to Manchester United in 2021, had a turbulent time in England.

Following the end of his contract with Manchester United due to a controversial interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.

When Cris told me he was going to play for Al-Nassr, I was so relieved because I really wanted to leave Manchester - admitted Rodriguez. Rodriguez also added that she knew something big was waiting for them and they were very motivated to move.

However, the new life in Saudi Arabia was not immediately easy. - It all happened so quickly - said Rodriguez. - At the beginning, I had some ups and downs because we had never lived in a hotel for so long. There were days when I didn't want anyone to see me, but overall, I was very excited.

Rodriguez’s luxurious life

Upon arriving in Saudi Arabia, Ronaldo and his family lived in the luxurious Kingdom Suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. This suite occupied two separate floors at the top of one of the tallest buildings in the country.

The apartment was one of 17 occupied by his entourage, consisting of family, friends, and security. The cost of the stay totalled over $450,000 CAD.

Since moving, Ronaldo has scored 63 goals in 70 matches for Al-Nassr in all competitions and helped the club win the Saudi Pro League Championship in 2023.
