Russia launches massive multi-front assault on Ukraine
A massive Russian attack on Ukraine is underway. The Operational Command of the Armed Forces announced that standby pairs of fighter jets have been scrambled, and ground air defence and radar systems have reached the highest state of readiness.
"Attention: In response to a long-range aviation attack by the Russian Federation, which may target locations including western Ukraine, military aircraft operations have commenced in our airspace," the statement reads.

The military reports that the Operational Commander of the Armed Forces, following established procedures, has mobilized all available forces and resources at his disposal. "Standby pairs of fighter jets have been scrambled, and ground air defence and radar systems have reached the highest state of readiness," it was announced.
The Operational Command assures that it is monitoring the current situation, and the subordinate forces and resources remain fully prepared for immediate response.
Massive attack on Ukraine
The Russians attacked Ukraine on Wednesday morning by land, sea, and air. Missiles are mainly heading towards the Kyiv region, Kyiv, and are also flying towards western Ukraine.
Ukraine's Air Force and monitoring channels report a "powerful missile attack on Ukraine." Missiles, including Kalibr, Kh-22, and Kh-101, were launched from 7 Tu-22M3 bombers, 6 Tu-95MS bombers, and MiG-31 fighter jets. There are also reports of ballistic missiles being launched from the Belgorod region.
Missiles were also launched from the sea.
