The Russians are still concerned about the security of the Crimean Bridge. To protect it, they have started building special anti-drone structures around it.

"To protect the Crimean Bridge from attacks by the Armed Forces, the Russian invaders are likely building permanent anti-drone defence structures," writes the Crimean Wind organization on its Telegram channel.

The structures are being erected parallel to the Crimean Bridge and consist of piles with a concrete superstructure - we read in the post.

A few days earlier, the Crimean Wind also reported on its channel that another structure is being built parallel to the Crimean Bridge. Analysis of satellite images indicates that it resembles a parallel crossing.

Crimean Bridge attacked by Ukrainians

The Crimean Bridge is currently a crucial crossing for the Russians. The structure forms the only land connection between the occupied peninsula and Krasnodar Krai in Russia. A significant portion of supplies reaches the Russian troops in Ukraine through this route.

The Ukrainians periodically strike both the Crimean Bridge and the peninsula itself, as well as the surrounding areas. On August 22 at 8:00 AM Eastern Time, a rail ferry carrying 30 fuel tanks sank as a result of a missile strike. The ferry was loaded in the port of Caucasus near the bridge, connecting Krasnodar Krai with annexed Crimea. The media reported that the crossing had to be closed.

A similar situation occurred just a few days earlier. At that time, Ukrainian forces attacked the Crimean Bridge and the ferry crossing from the peninsula occupied by Putin's army to Russia at night. As a result of the strike, over 2,000 cars were stuck in traffic.
