Rice paper is mainly associated with spring rolls and wontons but can also create a delicious dessert. Although this twist might sound improbable since croissants are typically made with puff pastry, it works surprisingly well.
Rice paper croissants
This trend is taking over international TikTok accounts, so we had to try it in the Pyszności kitchen. While the idea might seem odd, the recipe for rice paper croissants has won the hearts of many internet users and has made a splash here, too.
These croissants are perfect for busy people who don't have time for complicated baking. Though the recipe is simple and quick, it's important to remember that the taste will significantly differ from traditional croissants. Rice paper gives the dish a different texture and flavour.
