Putin tours Chechnya with Kadyrov, son flaunts forbidden Instagram
The son of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov showed off at a shooting range in Grozny in front of Vladimir Putin. The young Kadyrov also posted a picture with the Russian leader on Instagram, which is banned in Russia.
Many of the reports provided by Russian media or government representatives are elements of propaganda. Such information is part of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Putin's visit to Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia ended with a trip to Chechnya. In Grozny, he was transported down Putin Avenue and toured the Putin Russian University of Special Forces.
Putin visited Chechnya
While at the university, which has become one of the main centres for recruiting volunteers for the war in Ukraine, Ramzan Kadyrov introduced the president to his subordinates. At the beginning of 2022, these subordinates were "only 4 miles away from Kyiv" (according to Ukrainian intelligence, one of these groups was tasked with killing Volodymyr Zelenskyy).
Analysis by the "Agenstvo.Nowosti" agency indicates that part of the security force personnel introduced to the president by the head of Chechnya turned out to be people Kadyrov calls "brothers."
Adam Kadyrov, the son of Ramzan, posted a picture with Putin on the banned Instagram platform in Russia. Even though Adam is 16 years old, he is already a curator at the Putin Russian University of Special Forces and the Sheikh Mansur Battalion.
The brutal beating of a 19-year-old student
Kadyrov's son became "famous" for the brutal beating of 19-year-old student Nikita Zhuravel, who allegedly burned the Quran. The young Kadyrov later received 10 "awards" for this act.
On Wednesday late in the evening, a video was published online showing Adam Kadyrov at a shooting range.
"During the fighting in the Kursk region, Putin watches as Adam Kadyrov shoots at the shooting range," writes Nexta.
