This is a dish you can prepare in no time, and the result will surprise everyone. All you need are a few ingredients that you usually have in your kitchen to create delicious and crispy snacks that will disappear from the plate before you know it.

Puff pastry rolls – the perfect snack for any occasion

Thanks to the simplicity of making and the availability of ingredients, this recipe is perfect for any occasion. The base, of course, is puff pastry, which you can buy ready-made at the store, significantly cutting down on preparation time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 150 grams of your favourite ham
  • 150 grams of sliced yellow cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • a handful of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • salt
  • pepper

Preparation:

  1. Peel and slice the onion.
  2. Mix sour cream, chopped parsley, onion, marjoram, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry and lay it out on a work surface. Spread it with the prepared cream mixture.
  4. Place slices of ham and yellow cheese on the pastry.
  5. Roll up the pastry and cut it into smaller pieces (about 2.5 cm wide).
  6. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes, until the pastry is golden.
  8. Serve warm with your favourite sauce, such as garlic or dill sauce.

Tips:

  • You can add other ingredients to the rolls, such as mushrooms, peppers, or olives.
  • Instead of sour cream, you can use plain yogurt.
  • You can prepare the puff pastry rolls a day in advance and heat them before serving.
