Pamela Anderson speaks out on 'Baywatch' legacy and scandals

Pamela Anderson appeared in the third season of "Baywatch." The actress reportedly complained that her character had few lines, and everything focused on running on the beach in a tight swimsuit. Anderson reportedly asked the writers to expand her character. In later years, Pamela spoke openly about what happened behind the scenes.

Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee had a tumultuous relationship. The musician tended to affairs and addictions. The couple married in 1995 after just three days of knowing each other. Anderson dreamed of stability and starting a family, which was tricky while living with Tommy. She did get pregnant, but then severe problems arose.

Lee recorded sex tapes. One of his employees stole intimate recordings featuring the musician and actress in the leading roles. The employee first blackmailed the couple, demanding payment for a renovation he had done. However, he eventually decided that selling the tapes to companies dealing in adult films would be more profitable. He made $77 million from 8 minutes of footage featuring Anderson and Lee. The erotic videos hindered Pamela from getting new roles. Directors did not want the "heroine" of the tapes in their productions. As a result of the stress, the "Baywatch" star lost her pregnancy.
