NATO chief warns of global threat amid Russia-China ties

Declaration of support for Ukraine
- We must maintain the strength of our North Atlantic Alliance. The challenge we face now is support for Ukraine - he said. He pointed out that Kyiv is preparing for the most difficult winter since the full-scale Russian aggression began in February 2022.
The Secretary General noted that NATO should take additional actions to change the course of the war. According to him, the Alliance "must do more than just let Ukraine fight." The AFP agency assessed that this declaration by the Secretary General is related to the presidential elections in the United States, influenced by Donald Trump.
France's involvement in helping Ukraine
The head of the Alliance thanked France for its involvement in NATO's activities and its assistance to Ukraine.
Many Ukrainian soldiers are being trained in France, and moreover, Paris has committed to delivering Dassault Mirage fighter jets to Kyiv at the beginning of next year. It is unclear whether it will be three or six aircraft, French media reminded.
