Mourning Tito Jackson: Brother of Michael Jackson dies at 70

Tito Jackson has passed away. As his former manager, Steve Manning, confirmed, the brother of Michael Jackson died on September 15th. The star was 70 years old.

While the official cause of death has not yet been determined and released to the public, Jackson's agent believes he suffered a heart attack while driving from New Mexico to Oklahoma. Recently, Tito and his brothers Jackie and Marlon were performing in the United Kingdom, and there was no indication that he was facing health issues. "People" confirmed the news of Jackson's passing with his nephew, Siggy Jackson.

Michael Jackson's brother, among others, has already been mourned, as has the former drummer of The Jackson 5.

My wife and I just left and walked out of a movie we were watching at a theater just now….as she received a text from a very close friend….that my brother in heart and spirit, Tito Jackson has just passed away - sadly wrote Jonathan "Sugarfoot" Moffett.

Tito and his brothers were part of the legendary group The Jackson 5. The artist did not particularly stand out, which he admitted himself.

I've always been the quietest member of the group, so people make jokes about me - he stated in an interview given in 2018, adding with undisguised regret:

One of my favorite basketball players, Charles Barkley, said, ‘If Tito wasn’t in the Jackson 5, would we miss him?’ That hit me in the heart. It crushed me.
