Melania Trump on returning to the White House: 'I think the energy is different'
Melania Trump gave her first interview after her husband, Donald Trump, won the presidential election. In addition to discussing their son, Barron, the future First Lady of the United States also talked about preparations for moving back to the White House.
On November 6, Donald Trump won the presidential election in the United States, defeating his opponent Kamala Harris. Trump will soon move back into the White House and officially become the 47th President of the USA. His wife, Melania Trump, gave her first interview to Fox News after the victory.
Melania Trump on moving to the White House
Melania Trump noted in her interview with Fox News that she doesn't feel like she's returning to anywhere. From January 20, 2017, to January 20, 2021, as the spouse of the 45th President of the United States, she already lived in the White House, which she knows very well.
- Well, this time is very different because we already know where we are going. And, we have all of the plans from before, so we don't need to go back in - said Trump.
- My team is in contact with the White House, so that’s a plus, but we have all what we need. So this is the second time. So it’s nothing new - she added.
The future First Lady of the United States is already preparing for her role.
- I know what you need to establish, you know what kind of people you need to hire that, to be in your office, so that’s what I’m doing now. It's incredible and we are very, very busy. We can start on Day 1 - she reassured.
However, she did not comment on whether she plans to stay in Washington permanently.

Melania and Donald Trump's son, Barron, remains a mysterious figure for many people.
- He is a grown young man, I'm very proud of him about his knowledge, even about politics and giving advice to his father. He brought in so many young people he knows his generation - praised Melania Trump.

He was very vocal and he gave advice to his father and was incredible how he brought in a success because he knew exactly who his father needs to contact and to talk to - she said.
The 18-year-old is studying at New York University. As noted by his mother, he cannot fully enjoy student life. The Secret Service is constantly with him.
- I don't think it's possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college, it's very different than any other kid - she concluded in her interview with Fox News.
