Meghan Markle recently attended a gala in Los Angeles, but unfortunately, she did not receive a warm welcome. A British television presenter who had the chance to meet Prince Harry's wife revealed what happened at the event. It was not a pleasant experience.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been striving to build a life separate from the royal family for several years. In their book and documentary series, the couple has openly shared their private lives and the feelings they experienced while they were still among the royals. Additionally, they are trying to remain active in the social scene across the ocean.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle usually appear together at official events, providing each other with considerable support in front of the cameras. The former duchess recently attended the LA Children's Hospital gala alone, where she wasn't treated well...

Shocking, how Meghan Markle was treated at the event

This past weekend, Meghan Markle attended the LA Children's Hospital gala, encountering a very unpleasant situation. From Richard Eden's article in the Daily Mail, we learn that the celebrities present did not hide their disdain for Prince Harry's wife. British television presenter Lizzie Cundy revealed the behind-the-scenes events.

There wasn't a great deal of warmth from people when she arrived. She wasn't there long – she seemed to be there for the photographs. Meghan needs LA more than LA needs her. LA people feel they've been played by her. I'd have worn a different one if I'd known - stated Lizzie Cundy in an interview with the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, a friend of the couple pointed out that if Meghan and Harry were still working as members of the royal family, they would be welcomed with open arms everywhere.

Imagine the difference if they were still working royals. They would be the centre of attention wherever they went. They would be patrons of organizations and charities, not just guests turning up - stated a former friend of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in a conversation with Richard Eden.
