Famous company unveils new model: A street-legal racing marvel
Maserati has created a street racing car based on the track version of the GT2, which is derived from the road-going MC20. Does it sound complicated? A bit. However, it must be said that the car is imposing.

Looking at the photos, it’s clear that the GT2 Stradale is much closer to the racing GT2 than to the road-going MC20. The car seems to have come straight off the track. Large air intakes, extended splitters, and a substantial rear spoiler leave no doubt that aerodynamics was a priority here. Most components are, of course, made from carbon fibre.
The interior provides a somewhat more refined impression, combining elements from both worlds. There is a lot of carbon fibre and Alcantara, and the seats are practically the same as those from the GT2. On the other hand, the steering wheel resembles that of the MC20, although it is thicker. The audio and multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen also emphasizes the road-going character. And what do we find under the hood?
Of course, the 3-litre V6 Nettuno engine, which in this version generates 635 horsepower, is combined with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, resulting in excellent performance. The sprint to 100 kilometres per hour takes 2.8 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 320 kilometres per hour. This is the fastest road-going Maserati you can buy.
The fastest not only on straightaways, as the car uses the same suspension as the racing GT2. You can be sure it will excel in sharp corners. The aforementioned aerodynamics also provide up to 500 kilograms of downforce.
How many units of the GT2 Stradale Maserati intends to produce is unknown. The price also remains a mystery. However, it is certain that regardless of the numbers, demand will far exceed supply.
