Key swing states show tight race as Harris leads over Trump

This is a key poll before the conclusion of the presidential elections in the United States. According to a survey commissioned by "The New York Times," Harris is leading in four so-called swing states, Trump in one, and in two states, Harris and Trump have equal support. These differences are still within the margin of statistical error.

Interviewers spoke with 7,879 eligible voters in seven swing states, which are crucial for determining the results of the elections in the United States.

The researchers talked to 1,025 voters in Arizona, 1,004 voters in Georgia, 998 voters in Michigan, 1,010 voters in Nevada, 1,010 voters in North Carolina, 1,527 voters in Pennsylvania, and 1,305 voters in Wisconsin between October 24 and November 2, Eastern Time.

In North Carolina, Kamala Harris enjoys 48% support, while Donald Trump has 46%.

The two-percentage-point difference in support is also evident in Wisconsin, where 49% of those surveyed declare a vote for Harris, while 47% favour Trump.

In Georgia, 48% of respondents say they will vote for Harris, while 47% prefer Trump.

Kamala Harris also has an advantage in the Nevada polls, with 49% of the surveyed declaring support for the Democrat candidate and 46% for the Republican candidate, Trump.

Tie or Trump advantage

An interesting situation occurs in the polls conducted in Pennsylvania and Michigan, where Trump and Harris garner the same percentage of votes.

The only state where Donald Trump has an advantage in the poll is Arizona. Here, 49% of respondents declare they will vote for the Republican. Harris's support is 4 percentage points less.

The margin of sampling error among likely voters is about 1.3 percentage points.
