The confrontation between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson was a significant event in the boxing world. Jake Paul challenged the 58-year-old boxing legend and won. The fight generated considerable interest, not just in the United States. At its peak, it was watched by 65 million viewers and was broadcast by Netflix.

Jake Paul earned $40 (CAD 55) million from the fight, while Mike Tyson took home $20 (CAD 28) million. It was naive to think that discussion about the fight would end once both boxers left the ring.

There were many accusations on social media about the fight being fixed in Jake Paul's favour. Both opinions and video recordings suggested that Mike Tyson did not fully utilize his skills against the younger opponent. Jake Paul addressed these accusations frankly.

I mean, what do they want? They just want me to lose. That’s the only way they would’ve thought it was entertaining. This is fighting. This is the sport. What do you want? What happened, happened. All possibilities are there when you go into a fight, says Jake Paul.
People don’t realise my power, and my jab and my speed and my ability, and my footwork to get out of the way of those punches, so then all of a sudden he’s throwing at, literally, air. He can’t land those punches on me, adds Jake Paul.

Following the high-profile fight and the discussions it generated, Jake Paul's next appearance in the ring is sure to attract significant interest. And as for Mike Tyson's return? Nothing is impossible.
