Israeli airstrikes target Hezbollah leaders in Beirut offensive

The Israeli army reported an airstrike on Sunday targeting Hezbollah intelligence headquarters and underground weapon manufacturing workshops in the southern district of Beirut. The military claims the attack resulted in the deaths of three commanders from the terrorist organization.

The military stated that those killed included the commander of Hezbollah's southern front, a communications specialist, and an individual responsible for weapon production.

Another day of airstrikes

Beirut residents were advised to evacuate before the strike. This marks the second consecutive day of Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon's capital.

According to information provided by the Israeli military, in the last 24 hours, Israeli air forces targeted approximately 175 terrorist sites in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, including ammunition depots, rocket launchers, and military buildings used by Hamas and Hezbollah.

65 militants reportedly killed

The attacks have reportedly resulted in the deaths of over 65 Hezbollah militants, including some in "face-to-face combats."

Lebanese media confirmed that on Sunday, the Israeli side carried out attacks on more than 50 towns and villages. Hezbollah has yet to comment on this information.

According to the BBC, Israeli authorities recorded approximately 200 missiles fired from Lebanon in the last 24 hours.
