On Tuesday evening, Iran launched an attack on Israel. According to The Jerusalem Post, approximately 400 rockets were fired towards Israel. The first recordings of the show of force are appearing online.

Rockets were fired from Iran towards Israel, the Israeli army reported. It was also noted that alert sirens sounded throughout Israel, and civilians are taking shelter.

Iran launched at least 100 rockets, with some sources even indicating 250, while The Jerusalem Post mentions 400.

AFP agency journalists reported that explosions and sounds of intercepted rockets were also heard over Jerusalem.

More rockets are falling on Israel.

Iran confirmed the attack on Israel. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard reported on Tuesday evening that Iran fired dozens of rockets towards Israel in retaliation for the death of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, and Iranian General Abbas Nilforushan. They threatened further attacks if Israel responds militarily.
