The International Criminal Court accuses them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in connection with the war in the Gaza Strip and the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.

The Court stated that disclosing information and issuing warrants is in the best interests of the victims and their families.

The Court rejected Israel's complaints

At the same time, it unanimously issued two decisions rejecting Israel's complaints filed under articles 18 and 19 of the Rome Statute, as noted in the communiqué.

To recall, in the first request, Israel challenged the Court's jurisdiction over the situation in Palestine. In the second, it demanded that all proceedings before the Court be suspended, including consideration of requests for arrest warrants for Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu and Yoav Gallant, submitted by the prosecution on May 20, 2024.
