A tragic incident occurred in Nieuwegein, the Netherlands, where an 11-year-old girl was fatally stabbed. The police have arrested a 29-year-old suspect, and the investigation is ongoing.
On Saturday, a dreadful attack occurred in Dutch Nieuwegein, leading to the death of an 11-year-old child. The police received multiple calls around 9 a.m. Eastern Time, reporting a "knife-related incident" on Anemoonstraat street.
Officers responded promptly to these reports and, upon arrival, found the girl suffering from serious stab wounds.

Despite the quick intervention of emergency services and medical personnel, the child sadly passed away. A 29-year-old man was arrested near the scene of the attack.
Witnesses identified the man as the perpetrator of the incident. Bystanders present during the tragic events claimed that the attacker acted irrationally.
According to the ANP agency, the suspect is from Syria. The police are investigating reports that he has been behaving "confusingly" recently.
Utrecht police posted online, urging anyone who noticed anything unusual near the scene to come forward with information. As of now, Dutch authorities have no explanation regarding the tragedy.
