The weather doesn't let up and tortures us with high temperatures, even at night. It's nothing pleasant—we sleep much worse and are tired and irritable during the day. However, there is a little-known trick for dealing with the heat at night.

Heat at night is unpleasant. The high temperature makes us more exhausted than rested, and we wake up feeling hardly refreshed and irritable in the morning. While it’s easy to deal with the heat during the day – turn on a fan, stay hydrated regularly, or take cool showers- we often don't know what to do at night.

Night heat can make you feel exhausted. Try these methods

How do you survive the heat at night? There are a few ways to deal with the unpleasant high temperature. Some people cool down by sleeping with a fan on. However, this is not the best solution—it can lead to high electricity bills.

Another method is to sleep in damp sheets. This is a proven Egyptian method for dealing with heat—just give up the duvet and sleep under a wet sheet. With this solution, we stay much more relaxed and more comfortable.

A simple way to beat night heat? Give up sleeping in bed

If sleeping in damp sheets is unpleasant, we have another option. On a hot night, we can give up sleeping in the bed. If our living conditions allow, we can opt for a hammock. This type of bedding acts like a fan, swinging and moving the air to make us more relaxed at night.

For the hammock method to work against night heat, we must remember one important thing: Hang the hammock as low as possible because warm air always rises. For the same reason, if we live in a multi-story house during heat waves, we should move from the attic to the lowest room possible. It will be much more relaxed and more comfortable.
