  • On Friday late evening in the city of León in the state of Guanajuato, a tragic attack occurred. According to authorities, on an altar dedicated to the folk saint La Santa Muerte, a local cult leader was shot. In the shooting, two more people died, and eight were injured. "La Madrina Chayo," as the victim was called, was considered a leader of the La Santa Muerte cult in Guanajuato. The Prosecutor's Office, following Mexican law, did not reveal her real name. However, it is known that the pseudonym was used by a healer also known as "Chayito." Along with her, another woman and a boy died. The attack happened during preparations for the annual celebrations in honour of Santa Muerte. Eight people, including two children, were injured in the attack on the street altar. As reported by Independent, no immediate information was given about their condition. Witnesses describe the event as a sudden and brutal attack. Worshippers gathered at the altar were surprised by armed attackers. The police are conducting an investigation to determine the motives and perpetrators of the crime.

These demands were directly related to the collapse of part of the roof of the railway station in Novi Sad. The tragedy occurred on Friday. Fourteen people lost their lives. Several hundred demonstrators gathered in front of the Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure. They called for the authorities to be held accountable for the deaths and demanded the resignation of Minister Vesić. On Saturday, the Prosecutor's Office interrogated the minister and several dozen other individuals regarding the matter. During the protest, slogans such as "Crime, not tragedy," "Corruption kills," and "Absolute power, absolute responsibility" were chanted. Some participants in the demonstration painted their hands red to symbolize blood on the hands of the authorities and left red handprints on the facades of state buildings.

  • A glide bomb attack occurred on Sunday in Kharkiv at a supermarket – reported Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv regional administration, via the Telegram platform. The store was in the Shevchenkivskyi district, close to the city centre. The attack resulted in 4 people dead and 13 injured.
