Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are today among the most recognizable couples. The famous soccer player started dating his beloved in 2017, and since then, it has been speculated many times whether the couple is already married. Time passes, and reports on this topic appear every few months, but the couple has not yet officially confirmed it.
Why haven’t Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez gotten married?
Journalists, however, don’t give up and have tried many times to ask the soccer player and his partner about their wedding plans. While Ronaldo generally doesn't want to share the details of his private life with the media, his beloved has lifted the veil of secrecy a few times. In 2019, in a comment for the Spanish magazine "Hola!", Georgina admitted that Cristiano hadn't proposed to her yet because they had more important matters on their minds.
Every couple wants to get married and I would love to personally. Right how we have priorities and a lot of responsibilities, although in the future it would be marvellous to become Cristiano’s wife - she admitted.
Meanwhile, in 2022, during an interview with Piers Morgan, Ronaldo admitted that he would like to marry someday. However, it was not in his immediate plans.

Journalist Leticia Requejo tried to revisit the topic. During an event on Gran Via, she asked Georgina whether a wedding with the soccer player was still part of their plans. When she responded, "Of course," her beloved interjected, saying only: "One day." So it seems that for now, they haven't changed their minds – or they've changed them and don't want to announce it publicly.
It is worth mentioning that Cristiano has already called Georgina his "wife," which many took as confirmation that the ceremony had already occurred. However, when rumours emerged that the couple had gotten married, representatives of the soccer player denied these claims in an interview with the sports section of the TMZ portal. However, the soccer player assured the public that he would decide to marry someday and that it was also his mother's dream.
