These dramatic scenes occurred on Monday, July 15, at the Gormaghat Bridge in Pali, India. In the video circulating on social media, a couple takes the only chance to avoid a collision with a train and jumps into a 90-metre-deep gorge.

How did the couple not notice the approaching train? It turns out that they stepped onto the bridge for a photo session, which ultimately "absorbed" them. Moreover, they managed to avoid a collision with the train when the locomotive was just a few feet away. People, shocked by the circumstances, held their heads and shouted right before the bridge.

Emergency services were immediately called to the scene, reporting that the couple survived the fall, but the man's condition was critical. The couple was transported to the nearest hospital, where doctors are fighting for their lives.

According to Indian media, the bridge where the drama unfolded is a trendy spot, often chosen for taking pictures. Due to the circumstances, local authorities have decided to increase controls there. Many videos and photos from the location in question are on Instagram. They show the abyss into which the couple jumped and the greenery spreading.
