Ingredients:

  • 2-3 chicken breasts
  • 140-200 grams of bacon slices or Parma ham
  • Salt, pepper

For the sauce:

  • 180-250 millilitres of heavy cream (30%)
  • 100 grams of gorgonzola cheese
  • A few basil leaves
  • A few cherry tomatoes
  • Salt, pepper

For the salad:

  • 90-110 grams of arugula
  • 140-200 grams of cherry tomatoes
  • 60 millilitres of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of white wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Maggi seasoning
  • Salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Preparing the chicken: Wash the chicken breasts, pat dry, and cut into smaller portions. Season with salt and pepper. Wrap each piece with 1-2 slices of bacon.
  2. Cooking the chicken: In a heated pan, sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown.
  3. Making the sauce: In the same pan, melt the gorgonzola cheese in the cream. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Combining ingredients: Add the seared chicken to the sauce, chopped basil, and halved tomatoes. Heat through for a moment.
