Chat GPT outage leaves users frustrated worldwide

On Thursday afternoon, the Chat GPT website and its mobile applications experienced a global outage.

The first reports of the Chat GPT outage appeared around 7:00 AM Eastern Time on Thursday, January 23. According to reports published on the DownDetector service, the outage is global. The company responsible for this AI model is aware of the issue and is actively working to resolve it. The cause of the failure in the AI tool is currently unknown.

In addition to the website where OpenAI provides Chat GPT, mobile applications using this artificial intelligence are also non-functional. Users reporting the outage noted that the issue persists even with a paid subscription. "Chat GPT isn't working, 24 CAD a month down the drain," writes one user on the DownDetector service.
