A dirty toilet is a breeding ground for bacteria and germs, so it is very important to clean it regularly. If you don't want to waste time scrubbing, the following trick will be perfect for you.

Keeping the toilet clean is easy if you do it regularly. However, sometimes stains are difficult to remove. To avoid this, you can protect the toilet surface with a product typically used for cars. This is a trick used by professional cleaners.

Effective ways to clean the toilet

Different stains and bacteria accumulate on the surface of the toilet bowl, requiring regular cleaning and disinfection. Many people use special gels based on strong cleaning and disinfecting agents. Although they are effective, their intense smell can be bothersome.

One of the most effective ways to clean the toilet bowl is using homemade cleaning agents. Both baking soda and lemon vinegar work well for disinfecting the toilet, and they also have bleaching properties, making them an excellent choice. How do you use them?

Simply pour a package of baking soda into the bowl and add citric acid or vinegar. These ingredients react chemically, which increases their effectiveness. Leave them for 15 minutes (3 PM ET), then scrub with a brush and flush. As a result, the bowl will shine like new.

Long-lasting cleanliness thanks to car wax

You can use a method with a car paint polishing product to keep the toilet clean for longer. Professional cleaners often use this trick. Wash the toilet thoroughly, drain the water, wipe it dry, and apply the wax to the bowl's surface.

After cleaning, close the flush valve and remove the remaining water with a plastic cup. Wipe the bowl with a dry cloth and rub car wax into it to cover the entire surface. Leave it for 10-15 minutes (3 PM to 3:15 PM ET), then reopen the flush valve.

The wax will leave a protective layer on the surface, making stains easily disappear. For the best effect, you can repeat the process every two to three months (every 60 to 90 days).
