Burrata and nectarine salad: A delightful summer recipe

This recipe is ideal if you want to surprise your family and friends with a delicious salad. It is a tasty and healthy change from the classic gyro or the iconic Greek salad. When I put it on the table, everyone is delighted. It is colourful and pleases not only the palate but also the eye.
Burrata and nectarine salad
Combining sweet grilled nectarines, creamy burrata, nuts, and arugula creates a unique dish. The pecans add a crunchy texture to the salad, making each bite a perfect balance of sweetness, spiciness, creaminess, and crunchiness. Here, everything just comes together perfectly.
Ingredients:
- 30 grams of butter
- 3 nectarines
- 60 grams of pecans
- 20 millilitres of olive oil
- 10 millilitres of balsamic vinegar
- 15 millilitres of honey
- 2 burratas
- 85 grams of arugula
- Basil leaves
- Chilli flakes, for sprinkling
Preparation method:
Step 1. Cut the nectarines into eighths, removing the pit in the middle. Melt the butter on a grill pan or grill plate and place the cut fruit on top. Grill on both sides until they start to brown. You can also do this in a frying pan.
Step 2. Transfer the washed and dried arugula to a large bowl. Arrange the grilled nectarines and the drained burrata on top. Add the pecans and drizzle with olive oil and honey. You can also replace the pecans with walnuts.
Step 3. Finally, drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with chilli flakes. The simple burrata and nectarine salad is now ready. Enjoy!
