TikTok user Sabrina Chakici shared her story about how her new laptop was seriously damaged during travel. She usually uses the laptop during the flight and then puts it into the seat pocket in front of her.

Laptop cracked in the seat pocket

Sabrina explained in her TikTok video that she always put the laptop in the pocket where the safety brochures are. However, this time, the passenger in front of her reclined and unreclined the seat multiple times. The pressure caused the screen of my laptop to crack, she added.

She showed the damaged equipment, pointing out that the screen is now completely black and unresponsive. - I didn't think it could happen, but now I see that it could. When someone reclines the seat, it puts pressure on the pocket, which can damage equipment inside - she warned.

The traveler's case should serve as a warning to others

Numerous comments appeared under her video. Some expressed sympathy, while others advised keeping the laptop in the overhead compartment during takeoff, landing, and turbulence.

Sabrina responded to one of the users: "If even one person avoids this mistake because of this video, it was worth it."

The Express.co.uk portal reports that Sabrina's case could serve as a warning to other travelers not to place valuable items in airplane seat pockets.
