Bella Thomson, known on social media as Bella Brave, passed away on July 14 at the age of 10. Bella faced severe illnesses, including dwarfism, which made her look like a small child despite her age.

The news of Bella's death was shared on social media by her mother. "Our brave girl left her legacy here on earth to dance on the streets of gold on July 14, 2024, at 6:19 AM," wrote Kyla Thomson.

"Bella passed away peacefully in our arms," she added, urging internet users to share stories about how her daughter had affected their lives and their perception of the world.

Bella's numerous illnesses made her look like a one-year-old

Bella Thomson suffered from rare and very serious conditions, including a type of dwarfism and cartilage-hair hypoplasia. Additionally, she struggled with Hirschsprung's disease, which affects the intestines, and an immune deficiency. She underwent as many as 21 operations in the first seven years of her life.

The illnesses made Bella look as if she was still one year old. Despite health problems and numerous surgeries, she was a cheerful and smiling child, as seen in the posts her mother published on social media. Kyla Thomson wanted to encourage other parents dealing with similar health issues in their children.

Infection and another hospital stay

Some time ago, Kyla Thomson reported that Bella was again hospitalized due to a viral lung infection. Due to her illnesses, Bella was placed in a medically induced coma, and at the request of internet users, her mother regularly provided updates on her daughter's treatment.

A few days ago, she reported that Bella's condition was still serious but stable. Unfortunately, Bella Thomson died on July 14. At the time of her death, she was only 10 years old.
