Apple has announced that it will hold a press conference at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, on September 9th at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, where the company will likely introduce new iPhones and Apple Watches, reports CNBC.

The portal notes that Apple typically releases new models of iPhones and Apple Watches during fall premieres, ahead of the crucial holiday shopping season.

The company plans to broadcast the September 9th conference on the Apple website and YouTube.

"This year's iPhone models, which may be named iPhone 16, may include larger screens on high-end devices, a redesigned camera bump, and a new colour. It is expected that Apple's wearables will receive a new, faster chip", reports CNBC.

According to the announcements, the prices of the new phones may be close to those from the 2023 release. Let us remind you that on the release day, the base model iPhone 15 128 GB cost $1,133 CAD. The iPhone 15 Plus with the same 128 GB memory cost $1,278 CAD. The iPhone 15 Pro 128 GB cost $1,448 CAD. The most expensive iPhone model, the 15 Pro Max 1 TB, cost $2,318 CAD.
