Anne Hathaway spent the past weekend mostly standing on a roof, wearing a shirt splattered with fake blood and holding an iron spike (a poker?) in her hand. She is currently filming her latest movie, "Flowervale Street." During the scene that was spotted, she had loosely tied hair and, instead of a jacket or a high-necked shirt like many female action characters, she had a suitably exposed body.
"Flowervale Street" with Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor
The film is set to be another piece that hits sentimental notes and returns to the 80s. In this decade, the family, played by Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, lives. Add to that dinosaurs, and it's safe to assume that the movie will not go unnoticed in theatres. The film is set to premiere in May next year, so it's being geared up as a summer blockbuster. The director of "Flowervale Street" is David Robert Mitchell, who has previously directed the horror movie "It Follows."
The Daily Mail reports that on that day on the set (the film is being shot in Atlanta), car wrecks were also seen scattered on the street. Blood, dangerous tools, destruction, and dinosaurs don't sound like the latest work of "The Devil Wears Prada" star.
A good year for Anne Hathaway
This year, two films starring the actress have already premiered: "Just the Thought of You", a romantic comedy in which she plays a woman in love with a younger pop star, and "Instinct," in which she stars alongside Jessica Chastain (the film is available on Prime Video).
Later this year, the movie "Mother Mary" from A24 studio, known for producing high-quality content, is set to hit screens. Anne Hathaway gained fame as a comedy star in movies like "Bride Wars," "The Princess Diaries," and "The Devil Wears Prada." In 2013, she won an Oscar for her supporting role in "Les Misérables."
