A$AP Rocky knew Rihanna would be the mother of his children
When the heart feels it, there's no room for doubt. A$AP Rocky, speaking with a journalist from "W Magazine," confessed that he had long felt Rihanna would one day become the mother of his children. According to the rapper, it was apparent to both of them in their younger years, but the true connection happened as they matured and reconnected.
"I knew from when we were younger. We both did, I think. So it was only right when we got older. We just kind of reconnected," Rocky says. This pivotal moment happened around 2019 or 2020.

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna are parents to two sons: Rza, born in 2022, and Riot, born in 2023. In the interview, Rocky shares his observations on his children's personalities, noting how different they are from each other.
"I think Rza is going to keep to himself. He’s an introvert. Riot’s an extrovert—he’s just like his mom," the rapper says, emphasizing that their older son resembles his father more while the younger one has the energy and openness of his mother.
"Rza is more so like his dad, like me. And he’s my twin. He got his mom’s forehead, but he got everything else from me. I love my boy’s big forehead! I loved it on his mother," Rocky laughs, referring to a part of his song "Jukebox Joints" from 2015, in which he mentions a similar feature of Rihanna's.
Relationships between the little A$APs
In the interview, A$AP Rocky didn't hide his pride in how their sons' relationship is developing. Although Rza is more reserved, he slowly opens up to his younger brother, Riot. "Riot looks up to RZA. I think RZA's warming up to Riot," the rapper revealed, emphasizing how important family bonds are to him.
During the conversation, he also showed the journalist a video of his older son, Rza, sitting on the floor and cuddling with Rihanna, surrounded by a pair of shoes. This family life scene illustrates their everyday closeness.
The interview and photo shoot accompanying the article in W Magazine were special. Rihanna, who took the cover photo herself, not only photographed A$AP Rocky but also posed with him for several shots. The photographs capture the closeness and intimacy between them and their unique style.
