Zelensky warns of peril if U.S. reduces support for Ukraine
Volodymyr Zelensky, in an interview aired on Tuesday by the American television network Fox News, warned that reducing support for Ukraine could have serious consequences. He also compared the current power of Russia and the USA.

During his conversation with Fox News, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that "Putin is weaker than the United States of America. The President of the United States of America has the strength and authorities and weapons." He emphasized that limiting support for Ukraine could have significant repercussions.
Zelensky, summarizing the more than three years of the Russian invasion, noted that the beginning of the war "was the most difficult period." He expressed concerns that a loss of unity between Ukraine and the USA, as well as a loss of cohesion in Europe, would be very dangerous.
When asked about the possibility of Putin ending the war, Zelensky replied "as of today it depends on Putin, really a lot." He stressed that Putin could decide to end the conflict.
Zelensky highlighted the USA's role in the conflict, stating that "Putin is weaker than the United States of America."
"The President of the United States of America has the strength and authorities and weapons," he assessed. He also referred to reports on Donald Trump's plans regarding reducing oil prices, stating that "it needs to be done."
Finally, the Ukrainian president warned that reducing American support for Ukraine could have severe consequences."If they will cut (the spending), I think we will lose," he said.
At the same time, he declared that if funding is reduced, Ukrainians will continue to fight. "We have production, but it’s not enough to prevail. And I think it is not enough to survive," he added.
