US embassy official in Kyiv dies of natural causes at hotel
The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine reported the death of its attaché in Kyiv. "We can confirm the death of a U.S. government employee who worked under the direction of the Chief of Mission at the Embassy in Kyiv," the embassy said in a statement to RBC-Ukraine.
"We are unable to provide further comment for confidentiality reasons," it added.
According to "Ukrainska Pravda," on June 25th, the body of a representative of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine was found at the Hilton hotel. According to the portal's sources, no signs of violence were found. The death was said to have resulted from natural causes.
