Ukrainian intelligence reports death of Russian major in Luhansk

The Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported on Saturday via Telegram that a Russian war criminal, Major Dmitry Perwukha, was killed in the centre of Luhansk. The vehicle in which the major was seated exploded.

The explosion happened on Friday. According to the intelligence service, a UAZ (Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant) Patriot vehicle exploded in the centre of temporarily occupied Luhansk.

Perwukha is dead

"The vehicle contained an officer of the Russian occupation army, Major Dmitry Vladimirovich Perwukha," reads the message.

The criminal served in the intelligence centre

"As a result of the explosion, the intruder involved in war crimes was killed. Perwukha served in the 273rd Intelligence Centre, subordinate to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia, whose permanent headquarters is located in Novosibirsk," the HUR's press service announced.

According to HUR, in Ukraine's occupied territories, Major Perwukha held the position of the so-called "Chief of Staff for troop support and military service security."
