Ukrainian foreign minister urges allies to brave Russia's reaction

On Wednesday, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba paid a visit to Poland. He met with Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski. The politicians participated in a joint panel during the Campus Poland of the Future event.
The main topic of their conversation was the war in Ukraine. During the meeting, the audience had the opportunity to ask questions. One of the attendees asked the Ukrainian minister about the biggest current difficulties for Ukraine.
Dmytro Kuleba stated that the war consists of a series of difficult issues: there are concerns about whether there will be enough weapons and money. - The biggest problem Ukraine is experiencing is the fear of being forgotten. Our problem is that when we ask for weapons, we hear a negative response because our allies are worried that it will escalate the conflict, - said the minister.
"Do not fear Russia's reaction, we are not afraid"
According to Kuleba, "the biggest challenge is convincing our allies to support us without thinking about Moscow's reaction." - Russians acted as if they were not afraid of escalation from other nations. They dropped hundreds of thousands of shells and rockets on our territory. Why? Because they have a very clear strategy and a defined goal: to destroy Ukraine, - he added.
According to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, "such a response is just an excuse." - Do not fear Russia's reaction, we are not afraid. We are not afraid of anything. Help us. Give us what we need. We will win this war, and then we will read history books about how we made decisions together, - he appealed.
Sikorski added that "instead of wondering what Putin will do next, we should act so that Putin starts wondering what we will do next."
- This is how Ukraine's attack in the Kursk region worked. Now Putin must think about how to defend himself there and where else Ukraine might attack. Because of this, he has to reinforce border sections, - said the head of Polish diplomacy.
